Portadisk is a USB 3.0 SATA hard disk box that turns a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive into a portable external drive. The plastic enclosure houses the drive and connects to your computer over USB, so you can carry your files and back up data without opening your computer.
Why people choose Portadisk
- Two USB standards: it supports both USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 connections, so it works with a range of computers.
- Compact size: at 118 × 79.5 × 16.5 mm, it slips easily into a bag or pocket.
- Plastic body: the plastic housing keeps the enclosure easy to carry every day.
- Reuse your old drive: it fits a 2.5-inch SATA hard disk, so an existing drive can become external storage.
How to use
- Insert a 2.5-inch SATA hard disk into the enclosure.
- Connect the box to your computer with a USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 connection.
